Anthony Wayne Area Council News and events
Since 1917, the Anthony Wayne Area Council has been enriching communities and the lives of youth in Northeast Indiana through the preparation of young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The council is divided into four geographic districts that serve 300 scouting groups in 11 Northeast Indiana counties. More than 6,000 youth members participate in Scouting programs annually. Commissioner College Classes have been presented at the University of Scouting from 2004 through 2014 with 6 classes offered each year. From 2015 through 2022 a full College of Commissioner Science has been presented with 18 to 24 classes offered each year. ( With the exception of 2021 when it was cancelled due to a pandemic ) ( Some on line classes were attended in 2021 that were provided by other larger Council's ) |
